By creating an account, using the website, using the Android app, or accessing any GameSwipe service, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GameSwipe.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity under your account. Keep your password secure, use accurate account information, and enable two-factor authentication when possible. Guest accounts are temporary or limited accounts and may not provide the same recovery, security, or persistence as full accounts.
GameSwipe may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, or harmful to the service or other users.
Using The Service
GameSwipe helps you discover games through recommendations, swipes, lists, favorites, skipped games, genre preferences, community discussions, and related account features. Recommendations are informational and may not always be accurate, complete, available, or suitable for you.
You agree not to:
- break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with GameSwipe systems;
- use GameSwipe to harass, abuse, threaten, impersonate, or harm others;
- post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, spammy, or malicious content;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without permission;
- use GameSwipe in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
Community Content
You are responsible for threads, replies, and other content you submit. You keep ownership of your own content, but you grant GameSwipe permission to host, display, store, moderate, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate and improve the service.
GameSwipe may remove or limit content that violates these terms, appears unsafe, or creates risk for the service or other users.
Third-Party Content And Services
GameSwipe may show game data, images, store links, ratings, trailers, or other metadata from third-party sources such as RAWG, Steam, YouTube, Firebase, Stripe, and platform services. GameSwipe does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, or changes.
Supporter Payments
Supporter purchases help support GameSwipe and may unlock badges or future supporter features. Web payments are processed by Stripe. Prices, benefits, and availability may change over time.
Subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, and payment disputes may be subject to Stripe, app store, or platform rules depending on where the purchase was made. Unless otherwise required by law, digital supporter purchases are not guaranteed to be refundable after benefits are activated.
App Availability
GameSwipe may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Some features require network access, a working backend, a supported Android version, valid third-party services, or an active account.
No Warranties
GameSwipe is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that recommendations, game details, trailers, ratings, or availability information will be accurate.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, GameSwipe and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, service interruptions, third-party content, or unauthorized access beyond the amount you paid to GameSwipe in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using GameSwipe at any time. GameSwipe may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, misuse the service, or if continued operation becomes impractical.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as GameSwipe changes. When changes are made, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of GameSwipe after changes means you accept the updated terms.
